Today we have a special announcement: the long-awaited video reviews feature just went live.
What are video reviews?
As the name implies, this feature allows you to request video reviews for your business using Reviewshake. The best part is that it’s all integrated within our system: you just click a checkbox to enable video reviews, and they will show up in your landing page, widgets, social sharing, as well as all the dashboard stats. You don’t need to worry about storage, formats or anything else – it will just work. Users can record their video on any device – phone, tablet or computer.
How do video reviews help you?
If you are reading this post, you probably already know the huge impact of online reviews for your business (over 90% of people read online reviews before they make a purchase).
So why are video reviews better than text reviews. Here are a few ways:
1) They are more personal and authentic. Seeing a real person talking about your business is much more powerful than just a text.
2) People are more likely to remember details from watching a video than from reading a text.
3) Videos are a great marketing material, especially on social media, where they generate more reach and engagement than static posts.
In conclusion, if online reviews are powering your business, video reviews will turbocharge it.
How does the feature work?
By now, you should be convinced that video reviews are a great tool to add to your marketing arsenal. So you have one more thing left to do: activate it.
You can see it as a review source in Reviewshake (called ‘Video Reviews’) and you can enable it with a single click. From there, it will appear on the Review Us landing page, and any user can record a video on any device (laptop, phone, tablet) of a maximum length of 2 minutes.
The recorded videos are used for a variety of purposes: widgets, social media posts, and even ads.
